Monroe CC Invitational: Day 2 Wrap-up

The Alfred State men's swimming team is in 5th place while the women's team is in 7th after two days of competition at the Monroe CC Winter Invitational. The men have 126 points while the women have 38.

Sanjay Raman (Owego Free) highlighted the day by winning the 100 fly (57.55).  Josh McDowell (Wayland Cohocton) was 6th in the 100 fly (1:04.64) while Mark Pendleton (Beacon) was 8th in the 100 breast (1:14.97).  The men's 200 free relay team of McDowell, Kalem Chambliss (Alfred Almond), Tyler Easterbrook (Bath), and Raman was 3rd in 1:40.31.

On the women's side, Danielle Thone (Wappingers Falls/Roy Ketcham) was 2nd in the 100 fly (1:04.96) and Christy Dodd (Windsor) was 3rd in the 100 back (1:10.16).

Action concludes on Sunday.
