Alfred State’s vocal ensemble, “Voices!” will present a winter concert on Friday, December 7 at 7 p.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium in the Orvis Activities Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

Led by Alfred State Choral Director Linda Staiger, Voices! will present a number of seasonal favorites including “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow”, “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas”, and the lovely “Sing Me to Winter”. Adding to the mix will be jazz favorites like Manhattan Transfer’s “Snowfall”, “Hernando’s Hideaway”, and the madrigal “Weep O Mine Eyes, all with accompaniment by pianist Pat Wiggers.

Student Louise Jordan will perform a solo of Waring’s “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and former members of the ensemble will round out the program with special performances.
