Porter, Jones, and Peraino Named All-Conference

Alfred State soccer players Mitchell Porter (Alfred Almond), Kyle Jones (Wilson), and Nick Peraino (Geneseo) have been named All-WNYAC following the 2012 season.  The Pioneers finished the year 5-8-3.

Porter, a freshman midfielder, was a 1st team selection after lead the Pioneers with 24 points.  He had a team high 10 goals and chipped in four assists.  He netted two goals in victories over Cayuga CC and Roberts Wesleyan JV.  In the Cayuga contest he had a season high six points with two goals and two assists.

Jones was a steadying influence on the Pioneers defense throughout the season.  He was named 2nd team All-WNYAC after registering one assist.

Peraino, a sophomore midfielder, earns All-WNYAC honors for the second year in a row.  He finished the season with one goal and two assists.  He finishes his career with five goals and two assists.
