Muhleisen Named National Player of the Week

Alfred State women's soccer player Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) picked up her third honor of the week.  Today she was named the NJCAA DIII soccer player of the week.

Muhleisen netted six goals and passed out one assist in the Lady Pioneers three victories last week.  She had both goals in the team's 2-1 victory over Finger Lakes CC, ranked #2 in the country, at the time, she scored a goal in the Lady Pioneers 3-0 win at Bryant & Stratton, and netted three goals and passed out an assist in a 8-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan JV.

On the season, Muhleisen leads the team and is tied for 2nd in the NJCAA DIII with 27 goals.

Earlier in the week, Muhleisen was named the Region III athlete of the week and the Alfred State athlete of the week.

Muhleisen and the #1 ranked Lady Pioneers take the field again tonight when they take on Penn College at 7 p.m.
