Volleyball Sweeps Mercyhurst North East

The Alfred State volleyball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a convincing 25-12, 25-8, 25-16 victory over Mercyhurst North East in a WNYAC match-up on Tuesday.  The Lady Pioneers are now 21-10 overall on the season and 2-3 in WNYAC matches.

Mallory Eberhardt (Lyons) led the way with nine kills, eight digs, and five service aces.  Jessica Ramsey (Tioga) had nine digs and three aces, Lera Braun (Waterloo) chipped in 24 assists and three aces, and Sarah Linn (Portville) added six kills.

The Lady Pioneers have a few days off before heading to the Tompkins Cortland CC on Saturday for their final Pod of the season.  In the TC3 Pod they will take on Corning CC, Broome CC and TC3.
