Hornets Swarm Pioneers in Second Half

Broome CC scored three goals in the 2nd half to earn a 3-0 victory over Alfred State on Thursday evening.  The Hornets improve to 4-3 on the year while the Pioneers fall to 2-5-2.

After a scoreless 1st half, Broome got two goals by Robbie Hoover in a span of four minutes to take control of the game.  Hoover scored in the 53rd and the 57th minute.  Turner Antonakos added an insurance goal in the 65th minute.

Broome held a 14 to 6 shot advantage in the contest.  Curtis Richards made five saves for the shutout.

The Pioneers hit the road on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest vs. Niagara CCC.
