Women's Soccer Remains #5 in Latest Poll

Winners of five straight matches, the Alfred State women's soccer team remains ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Lady Pioneers are 5-1 on the season.

Ocean County College continues to top the national poll followed by Finger Lakes CC, Bunker Hill (MA) CC, and Mohawk Valley CC.  Holyoke (MA) CC is 6th followed by Brookhaven (TX) College, Anne Arundel (MD) CC, Herkimer CCC, and Rochester (MN) CTC.

After falling to DI Monroe College (Bronx, NY) in their season opener, the Lady Pioneers have won five straight games.  During this stretch they have outscored their opponents 19 to 2.  Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) lead the blue & gold with 11 goals on the season while Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) has four goals.

Alfred will look to add to their winning streak on Thursday when they host Broome CC at 6 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium.
