Holmok Named Athlete of the Week

Alfred State freshman soccer player Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) has been named the college's athlete of the week by the sports information department.  Holmok accumulated nine points in the Lady Pioneers two victories last week.

In the Lady Pioneers 4-0 victory over Jamestown CC, Holmok scored the game's first goal and assisted on the next two.  On Saturday vs. Mercyhurst North East she found the back of the net twice and was credited with one assist.

On the year, Holmok has scored four goals and has passed out three assists.  Her 11 points on the season is second best for the 5th ranked Lady Pioneers.

The Pioneers have a busy week as they play three Region III Division III contests.  They defeated Genesee CC 3-1 yesterday, host Broome CC on Thursday, and travel to Niagara CCC on Saturday.
