Men's Soccer Falls to Mercyhurst

The Alfred State men's soccer team couldn't put anything together and fell 4-1 to Mercyhurst North East in a WNYAC contest.  The Pioneers are now 2-3-2 on the year.

Mercyhurst's Tim Kemner scored early in both the 1st and 2nd half to give the Saints a 2-0 lead.  Mohamamed Hassan and Phillip Tantuo added 2nd half goals to make 4-0 in the final minutes of the game.

Mitchell Porter (Alfred Almond) broke up the shutout when he scored on a penalty kick in the 88th minute.

Mercyhurst held a 11 to 8 shot advantage in the contest.

Next up the Pioneers host Genesee CC on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
