Muhleisen and Platt Named Athletes of the Week

Soccer player Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) and Jedadiah Platt (Appleton/Barker) have been named the Alfred State athletes of the week by the Sports Information department.

Muhleisen netted her first hat trick of her collegiate career as Alfred State defeated Jefferson CC 4-1.  Muhleisen has scored five goals in the Lady Pioneers first three games.

Platt won the Alfred State Invitational 8k men's race this weekend.  He finished in 31:53.71.

Muhleisen and the Lady Pioneers battle Jamestown CC on Wednesday and Mercyhurst North East on Saturday while Platt and his teammates compete at the Finger Lakes Invitational on Saturday.
