The Alfred State track & field team heads into the postseason this weekend with top five spots in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The men's team moved up a spot to #3 while the women dropped two spots to #5 in the weekly poll.

The Pioneer men trail Harper (IL) College and SUNY Delhi in the poll.  Queensborough CC, Nassau CC, Kingsborough CC, Mohawk Valley CC, Gloucester (NJ) County College, Roxbury (MA) CC, and CC of Rhode Island round out the top ten poll.

Mohawk Valley CC sits on top of the women's poll followed by Delhi, Suffolk CC, Gloucester, and Alfred State.  Harper, Prince George's (MD) CC, Fashion Institute of Technology, Roxbury, and Herkimer round out the top ten.

The Pioneers will battle their Region III foes on Friday and Saturday at the Region III Championships.  The team will then host the NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Pioneer Stadium between May 3 - 5.
