Defending NJCAA champion and #1 ranked Onondaga CC raced past Alfred State 34-1 in a Region III contest on Saturday. The Lazers improve to 7-0 on the season while the Pioneers are now 3-7 (2-6 Region III).
The Pioneers lone goal came in the 3rd quarter when Chance Lowry (Waterloo) scored after getting a pass from Mike Hart (Ajax, ONT).
Brad Stowell (Marcellus) made 29 saves in the first half for the blue & gold.
The Pioneers begin a two homestand on Wednesday when they host Finger Lakes CC. Opening face-off is slated for 4 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium.
