Swimmers 11th after Day Two of Nationals

The Alfred State men's swimming team has earned 105 points after two days at the NJCAA National Championships.  The 105 poiints puts the Pioneers in 11th out of 14 teams that have earned points.

The 200 free relay team of Jake Giglio (Hornell), Tyler Sherwood (Elmira Southside), Josh Stellrecht (Oakfield Alabama), and Josh McDowell (Wayland Cohocton) earned 9th with a swim of 1:34.29.

Mark Pendleton (Beacon) earned points for the team with a 24th place finish in the 200 IM (2:12.80).

Action continues on Friday from Indian River State College (Ft. Pierce, FL) with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
