Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Patrick Parker (Queens/Hillcrest) netted a game-high 31 points but it wasn't enough as #20 CC of Beaver County earned a 99-87 victory over Alfred State.  The Pioneers end the 2011 portion of their season with a 5-8 mark while CCBC improves to 9-1.

The Pioneers trailed 49-43 at halftime, led by Parker's 18 points but neither team had much success stopping the other team's offense.  ASC finished the contest with 13 made three-pointers.

Parker's 31 points is a new career high and is the 5th time this season he has scored 20 or more in a game.  Dashino Charles (Elizabeth, NJ) chipped in 19, Antonio Avery (Buffalo/McKinley) chipped in 13, and Rasheem Creech (Brooklyn/Transit Tech) had 11.

The blue & gold return to action on January 17th when they travel to Jamestown Olean for a 7 p.m. start.
