Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

The Alfred State College women's basketball team couldn't rally all the way back and suffered a 67-60 loss in Cleveland, OH to Cuyahoga CC.  The Lady Pioneers trailed 33-27 at half and by as many as 12 but cut it to three in the final minute, 63-60, but couldn't get any closer.

Camille Romero (Quees Village/Mary Louis) recorded over twenty points in her 5th straight game.  She led ASC with 29 points on Friday.  Carriola Chambers (Manhattan/Facing History) chipped in 12 pionts while Amie Brooks (Pavilion) had nine.

The Lady Pioneers are now 6-4 on the year and will close out the 2011 portion of their schedule next week with a road contest on Tuesday vs. Roberts Wesleyan JV and a home contest vs. U of Rochester JV on Thursday.
