Hoag and Dunn Named All-WNYAC

Alfred State College baseball players Garrett Hoag (Dansville) and Dylan Dunn (Hornell) have been named honorable mention All-WNYAC. 

Hoag was selected as a pitcher but had a solid two-way fall season.  He led the Pioneers with a .375 batting average and drove in a team high five runs.  On the mound he struck out 26 in 24 innings of work.  He finished the season with a 1-3 mark and a 4.12 ERA.

Dunn had a solid debut season with the Pioneers.  He hit .300 with two doubles and four RBI.  Behind the plate he threw out nine baserunners attemptiong to steal.

The Pioneers finished 2-13 this fall and 2-11 in WNYAC play.  They will begin their spring season in March of 2012 when they travel to Florida for their annual spring trip.
