Wrestlers Tangles with Saints

The Alfred State College wrestling team traveled to Mercyhurst North East and fell 40-12 in a WNYAC contest.  The Pioneers fall to 0-2 in dual matches while MNE is 1-1 on the season.

The Saints jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Pioneers got points at 174 lbs. when Lucas Cady (Alfred Almond) earned a forfeit victory and at heavyweight when Zach Race (Fulton/G. Ray Bodley) earned a pin of Jacob Ebright.

The Pioneers have over a week off before they head to Niagara CCC on Dec. 2 for the Niagara Duals.  They will also compete in the Niagara Open on Dec. 3.
