Lady Spikers Fall in Four

The Alfred State College volleyball team won the opening game 25-22 versus Jamestown CC but could not keep the momentum and fell in the next three games, 18-25, 18-25, 20-25.  ASC is now 12-9 on the year.

Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) led the way with 12 kills and seven digs while Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) finished with 18 digs, seven kills, and two blocks.  Mishaya Tuttle (Campbell Savona) had 12 digs, and nine kills, Ashley Hulse (Hammondsport) finished with six blocks and five kills, and Mandy Bush (Altoona, PA) had 27 assists, 14 digs, and three aces.

The Pioneers head to SUNY Delhi on Sunday for the Bronco Pod.  They will take on SUNY Delhi (10 a.m.), Mohawk Valley CC (11:45 a.m.), and Herkimer CCC.
