The Alfred State College men's soccer team picked up their first victory of the season on Thursday as they defeated Jamestown CC 3-0.  ASC is now 1-2-1 on the year and have two more games left on their six-game road trip.

Nick Peraino (Geneseo) got the Pioneers on the board with 25 minutes left in the 1st half.  Suzuki Keita (Yokohama, Japan) made it 2-0 15 minutes later after getting a pass from CJ Reynolds (East Rochester).

Reynolds recorded the lone goal in the 2nd half when he scored with 26 minutes left to add to the blue & gold's lead.

ASC held a 10-4 shot advantage.  Nick Smith (Arkport) earned the shutout victory by making two saves.

The Pioneers head to Mercyhurst North East for a WNYAC contest on Saturday afternoon.  The game is slated to begin after the women's contest at approximately 3 p.m.
