After a perfect showing at their first invitational of the year, the Alfred State College women's cross country team moved up five spots to the #4 ranking in the 2nd NJCAA Division III poll of the year.

Alfred State received 290 points and trail only Mohawk Valley CC (400), Delhi (350), and Ocean CCC (310).  Hudson Valley CC, Suffolk CCC, Herkimer CCC, CC of Rhode Island, Broome CC, and Queensborough CC round out the top ten.

The Lady Pioneers scored a perfect 10 at the ASC Invitational this past weekend. ASC had the top five finishers in the event led by Kim Lupo (Auburn) winning the event.

Both the men and women return to action on Saturday when they travel to Finger Lakes CC for the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational.  The women's race is slated to begin at 11 a.m.
