Lady Pioneers Shutout Jamestown

Three first half goals helped the Alfred State College women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Jamestown CC on Tuesday.  The win improves the Lady Pioneers to 3-1 on the year with all victories coming via shutout.

Jenna Lynn (York) scored two first half goals while Lacee Pearl (Olean) netted the other.  Taylor Waite (Genesee Valley) picked up an assist on Lynn's first goal while Katherine George (Genesee Valley) assisted on Lynn's second.

Danielle Henry (Arkport) scored the lone goal of the second half.

ASC held a 16 shots on goal while JCC had just two.  Simone Delaney (Canisteo Greenwood) recorded her 3rd shutout with two saves.

The blue & gold return to action on Saturday when they travel to Mercyhurst North East for a 1 p.m. start with the Saints.
