TC3 Squeaks Past Lady Pioneers

Alfred State and Tompkins Cortland CC battled back and forth until Lady Panther Angela Halliday snuck a shot underneath a diving goalie in the 75th minute to lead TC3 to a 1-0 victory.  The win evens the Panthers record at 2-2 and drops ASC to 1-1.

Halliday took advantage of two Lady Pioneer misplays en route to her game-winning goal. 

ASC held a 10-5 shot advantage including a 5-1 advantage in the 1st half.  Sami Jo Scheer made five saves to earn the shutout victory for TC3 while Simone Delaney (Canisteo Greenwood) made four saves.

The Lady Pioneers hit the road for their next five contests beginning with a 1 p.m. match at Jefferson CC on Saturday.
