Football vs. Buffalo State JV Cancelled

The Alfred State College football team will have to wait a few more days to open up the home portion of their season.  The scheduled contest between ASC and Buffalo State JV on September 12 has been cancelled.

The Pioneers (1-0) now will have the next 10 days off before hosting Region III rival Erie CC on September 17.  Kickoff for that game is slated for 7 p.m.

Alfred State won their season opener yesterday, 21-10 over Brockport JV, as Greg Hampton (Uniondale) threw for three touchdowns.  The Pioneers capitalized on strong special teams play setting up 15 of the points on the day.
