MVCC Downs Men's Soccer

The Mohawk Valley CC men's soccer team improved to 4-0 with a 5-1 victory over Alfred State in day two of the East-West Showdown at SUNY Delhi.  The Pioneers are now 0-1-1 after the first weekend of the season.

ASC was outshot 28 to 13 on the day.  The lone Pioneer came with 13 minutes left in the game when Peter Dezio (East Rochester) scored after getting a throw in pass from Tim Randall (Churchville Chili).

Nick Smith (Arkport) made eight saves in net for the blue & gold.

ASC plays again on Saturday Sept. 10 when they play at Jefferson CC.  The game is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start after the women's contest.
