FLCC Rallies for Victory

The Alfred State College lacrosse team led 3-2 after one quarter and 6-5 at halftime but Finger Lakes CC outscored the Pioneers 10-2 in the second half for the 15-8 victory.  FLCC improves to 6-6 while ASC falls to 0-9.

Chance Lowry (Waterloo) and Mike Hart (Ajax, ONT) each scored two goals while Kevin Gardrvits (Glen Cove) scored a goal and passed out an assist.  Keith Maloney (Brewster), Shawn Hanrahan (Unadilla/Unatego), and Danny Weimer (Derby/Lake Shore) all found the back of the net once.

Brad Stowell (Marcellus) made 26 saves in net for the Pioneers including 15 in the first half.

The blue & gold return to action on Sunday when they travel to Niagara CCC.  Opening faceoff is at 1 p.m. in Sanborn.
