Track Ranked #3 in First Poll

The Alfred State College men's and women's track & field team is ranked #3 in the first NJCAA Division III national poll of the 2011 season. 

Harper (IL) College is ranked #1 in the men's poll followed by SUNY Delhi.  Kingborough CC, Gloucester (NJ) CC, and Roxbury (MA) CC follow the Pioneers in the poll.

Herkimer CCC is at the top of the women's poll followed by Harper and ASC.  Kingsborough and Gloucester round out the top five.

The Pioneers have had 33 NJCAA National Championshp qualifying performances already this year.  The 2011 NJCAA Division III National Championships will be held at Pioneer Stadium on Alfred State's campus May 5-7.

The blue & gold are scheduled to host a tri-meet on Friday with Alfred University and Finger Lakes CC.
