Bensley Meets with Honors Program Members

Foote, Bensley, Stiller, and SchwarzProfessor Wayne Bensley, of Alfred State College’s Physical and Health Sciences Department, met with Honors Program members and other guests Nov. 10, to discuss legal and illicit drugs from both a policy perspective and a forensic chemist’s perspective.  Drawing on his 12 years of government employment analyzing drugs in over 13,000 criminal cases and testifying in court nearly 300 times, Bensley shared insights across the entire spectrum of drug history and policy in the United States.  Bensley, who joined the Alfred State College faculty in 2007, teaches all the forensic science courses in the college’s forensic science technology BS degree program.
