Cayuga Rallies Past ASC

Cayuga CC outscored Alfred State 44-34 in the 2nd half to erase a four-point halftime deficit en route to a 68-62 victory.  The Spartans are now 1-3 on the year while the Pioneers are 2-2.

Riley Sroman led CCC with 18 points and seven boards whiel Da'Keem Herndon added 10 points.  Dontay Wilson finished with nine points and 11 rebounds.  Cayuga shot 48.6% from the field in the 2nd half and shot 39.1% for the game.

Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD/Bethesda) led ASC with 25 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Patrick Parker (Jamaica/Hillcrest) added 12 while Joe Bowman (Frewsburg) and Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) each finished with six.  ASC shot just 31.7% from the field and 23.8% from three for the contest.

The Pioneers have a few days off before heading to SUNY Orange on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tilt with the Colts.
