Dig Pink Event Raises Over $1,200

The Alfred State College volleyball team raised $1,225 with their "Dig Pink" event on Tuesday, October 19th.  The money raised will be donated to the Side-Out Foundation.

The Lady Pioneers raised money with various fundraisers.  "Dig Pink" t-shirts were sold, a duck raffle was held, a jar war competition was waged, and the players on the team designed theme baskets that were raffled off.

The volleyball team defeated Erie CC 3-1 on the 19th in front a "pink" crowd.  ASC finished the 2010 campaign with a 24-12 mark.
