Lady Pioneers Win Tenth

The Alfred State College women's soccer team won their seventh straight Region III Division III contest with a 2-0 victory over Corning CC on Friday.  The Lady Pioneers are now 10-4 overall on the season and 9-3 in RIII DIII play.

Holli Pierce (Livonia) scored a goal in each half to pace the Lady Pioneers.  Charise Nankivell (Hornell) picked up the assist on the first goal while Abby Komarc (Horseheads) had the assist on the second.

Mo Parks (Avoca) made two saves to record the shutout.

ASC wraps up the regular season on Monday when they travel to SUNY Delhi for a 4 p.m. contest with the Lady Broncos.
