Spikers Sweep Lady Lakers

The Alfred State College volleyball team continued their solid play as of late with a 25-18, 25-14, 25-13 victory at Finger Lakes CC.  ASC is now 17-8 on the season.

Kelley Dumbleton (Warsaw) led the way with 11 kills, five digs, and two aces while Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) finished with 11 digs, 10 kills, and three aces.  Brittany Haines (Salamanca) chipped in 22 assists and 18 digs, Mandy Bush (Altoona, PA) had 15 digs, and Ashley Hulse (Hammondsport0 added three blocks and three kills.

The Lady Pioneers head to the Corning CC Tournament on Saturday where they are scheduled to play Tompkins Cortland CC (9 a.m.), SUNY Delhi (Noon), Hudson Valley CC (3 p.m.), and Jefferson CC (6 p.m.) in pool play.
