Jonchhe Meets with Honors Program Members

Honors Program membersProfessor Yogendra (Yogi) Jonchhe of Alfred State College’s Mechanical Engineering Technology Department met with Honors Program members Oct. 6 to describe his recent teaching experience in Nepal as a Fulbright Scholar. Jonchhe, a native of Nepal, taught at Kathmandu University from Aug.1-Dec. 20, 2009, lecturing in the fields of mechanical, automotive, energy, and emissions, and helping develop an engineering science program at Kathmandu University for transfer to upper division engineering programs in U.S. institutions. Jonchhe urged Honors Program members to consider international study, especially in the technologies, as they plot their careers.
