Men's Soccer Falls in OT
For the second time in the past two weeks the Alfred State College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime decision. Finger Lakes CC scored 1:42 into the first overtime to secure the win.
FLCC got on the board first with 31:30 remaining in the 1st half before Lucas Wales (Bath) answered right back 34 seconds later with his team leading 7th goal.
Neither team could find the back of the net the rest of the way until Cory Stephany scored the game winner wiht 8:18 remaining in the first overtime.
FLCC held a 15 to 9 shot advantage. Daniel Krajcir (Gloversville) made eight saves for the blue & gold.
The Pioneers (4-6-2) have a few days off before heading to Tompkins Cortland CC on Friday evening for a 5 p.m. start.
