The Alfred State College volleyball team defeated Jamestown CC, 25-12, 25-14, 25-27, 25-18 on Tuesday evening.  The win improves the Lady Pioneers to 10-7 on the season and 2-2 in WNYAC play.

Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) led ASC with 17 kills and five digs while Brittany Haines (Salamanca) finished with 36 assists, 11 digs, four kills, and three aces.  Kelley Dumbleton (Warsaw) added 11 kills, 10 digs, and three blocks, Mandy Bush (Altoona, PA) finished with 11 digs, and Ashley Hulse (Hammondsport) chipped in five kills and five blocks.

The win avenges a loss to JCC in the quarterfinals of the Onondaga CC Tournament this past weekend.

ASC returns to action on Thursday when they host Corning CC.  Action is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center.
