Lady Pioneers Shutout Jamestown

Jenna Lynn (York) netted two goals as the Alfred State College women's soccer team shutout Jamestown CC 2-0 on Thursday.  The Lady Pioneers are now 2-1 on the season.

Lynn scored a goal in each half.  Her first came 13 minutes into the game after a scramble in front of the net.  Her second came after getting a pass from Holli Pierce (Livonia).

Mo Parks (Avoca) made five saves in net to record the shutout.  ASC held a 11 to 8 shot advantage.

The blue & gold return to action on Saturday when they open the 2010 Homecoming athletic events with a Noon match versus Mercyhurst North East.
