Home ›Schedule Set for Inaugural Pioneer Classic
The field and schedule has been set for the Inaugural Pioneer Volleyball Classic to be held Sept. 4 in the Orvis Activities Center. Alfred State begins their 2010 with the new event.
In Pool A, ASC will be joined by Nassau CC, Finger Lakes CC, and Herkimer CCC while in Pool B, defending Region III champion Niagara CCC will be joined by SUNY Delhi, Monroe CC, and Onondaga CC.
Each team will play the other three teams in their pool in the preliminary round with the top two teams advancing to the semifinals. (Full schedule below).

The Alfred State volleyball team is coming off a 20-14 season in 2009. Five of the seven Region III teams in the Pioneer Classic qualified for regionals in 2009 (Nassau was the XV Champions).
