Dr. Richard L. Kellogg, Alfred, professor, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Alfred State College, was honored recently for his 40 years of service at the college. Dr. Kellogg joined the Alfred State faculty in 1970 after completing doctoral studies at the University of Rochester. He is the author of three books on Sherlock Holmes and is a frequent contributor to popular magazines and professional journals. As a token of the college’s appreciation of his service, Kellogg was given a certificate and a college lamp.
