Bailey Named Athlete of the Week, Speciale Records 100th point

Alfred State College sophomore Chase Bailey (Corning West) has been named the Region III men's co-athlete of the week.  Bailey's teammate Ryan Speciale (Corning West) also hit a milestone this past week by recording his 100th career point.

Bailey tallied 11 goals and passed out an assist in three Pioneer contests this week.  He had a career high seven goals and one assist in a 23-10 victory over Niagara CCC on Sunday.  On the year he has a team high 35 goals and four assists.

Speciale recorded eight points in the Pioneers victory on Sunday versus Niagara.  With the eight points (three goals and five assists) he now has 101 points in his career (61 goals and 40 assists).  This season he leads the team with 49 points on 24 goals and 25 assists.

The blue & gold travel to Syracuse today for a 6 p.m. contest with Onondaga CC.
