Big 4th Inning Dooms ASC

Herkimer CCC erased a 4-2 deficit with a six-run 4th inning en route to a 10-5 victory over Alfred State on Friday.  The Lady Pioneers finish their spring trip in Myrtle Beach, SC with a 2-6 record (1-2 Region III Division III).

ASC trailed 2-0 heading into the bottom of the 3rd but plated four in their half of the inning to take a short lived lead.  The Generals scored six in the 4th to take control of the game and down the Pioneers for the second time this week.

Charise Nankivell (Hornell) was the lone Pioneer with multiple hits collecting two and driving in two.  Julie Williams (Clymer) added a RBI.

The blue & gold return to action on April 6 when they travel to WNYAC foe Erie CC for a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
