Pioneers Still in 11th, Lady Pioneers in 13th after Day Two of Nationals

The Alfred State College men's swim team remained in 11th place after day two of the NJCAA Naitonal Championships while the women are in 13th place.  The men now have 32 points while the women have 2 points.

On Wednesday, Josiah Halbohm (Bemus Point), Tim Guarino (Cornwall), Ethan Wright (Clyde Savannah), and Cory Roberts (Marcus Whitman) finished 11th in the 800 free relay in 8:28.31 and finished 13th in the 400 medley relay in 3:22.75.

On Thursday, the Pioneer relay finished 11th in the 200 free relay swimming a time of 1:41.43.

Ashley Andrus (Cuba Rushford) scored the first individual event points for ASC with a 15th place finish in the 200 IM (2:32.69).

Events continue Friday and runs until Saturday evening at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, FL.
