Pioneer Wrestlers Compete at Nationals

Five members of the Alfred State College wrestling team traveled to Des Moines, IA and competed in the NJCAA National Championships over the weekend.  The Pioneers were one of 39 teams competing in the event.

Eric Shedden (Canton, PA), TJ Nelson (Somers), Cody Dill (Unatego), Dan Steiger (Miller Place), and Shawn Hanrahan (Unatego) all represented the Pioneers.  None of the blue & gold were able to earn a victory in the tournament.  As a team the Pioneers finished tied for 36th.

Alfred State finishes the year with a 2-4-1 record.
