Early Runs lead #2 Erie past Alfred State

Erie CC used two big first half runs to take control of their WNYAC battle with Alfred State.  #2 ranked ECC improves to 18-1 on the season with a 86-70 victory.

Jose Stable (Brooklyn/EBC-Bushwick) led the Pioneers with 19 points and 15 rebounds while Reggie Corley (Elmira Free) came off the bench and added 16 points.  Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD) added 15 points while Rasean Parris (Brooklyn/Benjamin Banneker) chipped in 10.

Tola Lawal and God's Gift Achiuwa both finished with 19 points.  Achiuwa also grabbed a game high 20 rebounds.  Terrell Williams came off the bench and chipped in 16 points.

ECC shot 43% from the field and hit six three pointers while ASC shot 40% and was slowed down by 27 turnovers.

The Pioners are now 9-13, 3-4 WNYAC on the season.  They host JCC-Olean on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
