Pioneers Fall in Final Seconds

Cayuga CC hit two foul shots with 6.8 seconds remaining to defeat the Alfred State College men's basketball 81-80.  The Pioneers fall to 2-3 on the season.

Alfred State led 4-2 and trailed until midway through the second half.  The blue & gold gained the lead 63-62 and led 77-71 in the final minutes before CCC made their comeback.

Rasean Parris (Benjamin Banneker) scored 19 points in the first half and finished with a team high 23 points.  Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) finished with 16, Brendan Letteer (Odessa Montour) added 11, and Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD) had 10 points.

ASC returns to action on Thursday when they host Cuyahoga (OH) CC.  Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
