Pioneers Battle Herkimer in Quarters

#8 seeded Alfred State College men's soccer team will travel to #1 Herkimer CCC for a Region III Division III quarterfinal match-up on Tuesday afternoon.  The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at Wehrum Stadium.

Herkimer enters the game 15-1-2 and ranked #2 in the NJCAA Division III poll while ASC is 8-6-1 on the year after defeating Jefferson CC on Saturday in a first round match-up 1-0 in overtime.

ASC and HCCC did not meet in the regular season.  The winner of this quarterfinal contest advances to the Final Four at Tompkins Cortland CC on Saturday.  The winner takes on the winner of #4 Broome CC and #5 Tompkins Cortland CC
