Cross Country Remains Steady in Poll Heading into Regionals

The Alfred State College cross country teams remain steady in the NJCAA Division III poll as they prepare to compete in this weekend's Region III Championship.  The men remain ranked #3 while the women are #5.

After a weekend off the men will be part of a very strong field at the Region III Championships at SUNY Delhi on Saturday.  Alfred State will compete versus #1 SUNY Delhi, #2 Mohawk Valley CC, #4 Broome CC, and #10 Erie CC in the 8k course.

On the women's side, Alfred State will compete versus #2 SUNY Delhi, T#3 Broome CC, T#3 Mohawk Valley, and #10 Erie CC in the 5k course. 

The men's team finished 3rd at Regionals last year while the women finished 5th.

Regional Championship action begins at 10 a.m. with the women's race while the men start at 10:45 a.m.
