Pioneers Fall to Jamestown CC

The Alfred State College men's soccer team outshot Jamestown CC 14 to 4 but fell 2-1 in a WNYAC contest in Jamestown on Wednesday afternoon.  The Pioneers are now 6-5-1 on the year and 5-4-1 in Region III Division III play.

Caleb Drake (Jasper Troupsburg) scored the lone Pioneer goal after getting a pass from Kevin Arilotta (Churchville).  With the game tied at 1-1 late in the first half JCC scored the game winner in the 44th minute.  ASC had chances in the second half but could not get the neutralizer.

Dan Krajcir (Gloversville) made two saves in net for the blue & gold.

The Pioneers play their final home game of 2009 on Friday evening at 6 p.m. when they host Tompkins Cortland CC.
