The 2009 Alfred State College Volleyball Invitational will be held this Saturday at the Orvis Activities Center. The field for the 2009 tournament could be the most competitive in the history of the tournament.
The eight teams participating in the tournament will be broken into two pools. Each team will play the other three teams in their pool with the top two teams advancing to the cross-over semifinals. All matches are best 2 out of 3.
Pool A features Alfred State (9-9), Tompkins Cortland CC (2-13), Corning CC (17-3), and Broome CC (5-12) while Pool B features Onondaga CC (10-10), Jefferson CC (9-10), Erie CC (25-3), and Jamestown CC (15-5).
