Home ›ASC Honors Program Hosts Dr. William Rezak
Dr. William Rezak, president of Alfred State College from 1993-2003, met with Honors Program members Sept. 24 to explain and discuss the ongoing Middle East tensions, giving particular emphasis to the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Because Rezak’s family roots are in the Middle East, he has studied the history of these conflicts for some time. Honors Program members were given the context of the current struggles instead of the brief, sometimes uninformative ‘headlines’ usually presented by the media regarding the Middle East. Rezak’s presentation was a return visit to the Honors Program; in October 2002, he met with members to make the case for greater use of nuclear power in the United States.
