Lady Pioneers Fall in Three

The Alfred State College volleyball team fell 21-25, 19-25, 23-25 to Jamestown CC in a WNYAC dual match on Tuesday evening.  The Lady Pioneers are now 9-8 (8-7 Region III Division III) on the season.

Emily Linn (Portville) led ASC with 12 kills, five digs, and a block.  Brittany Haines (Salamanca) finished with 27 assists, nine digs, and three kills, Bobbi Hopkins (Southwestern) had 10 digs, seven kills, and a block, and Chrissy Nolan (Niagara Wheatfield) chipped in six digs and two aces.

The Lady Pioneers have another road test on Thursday when they travel to Corning CC to battle the Lady Red Barons at 6 p.m.
