Pioneers Blank Corning

Masanari Yamamoto (Tokyo, Japan) scored a second half goal as the Alfred State College men's soccer team downed Corning CC 1-0 on Thursday afternoon.  The Pioneers improve to 2-4 (2-3 in Region III Division III games) on the season.

Yamamoto scored after getting a pass from Steven Hickey (Aquinas).  Dan Krajcir (Gloversville) recorded his second shutout of the season by making six saves.

The Pioneers hit the road again on Saturday when they travel to Mercyhurst North East for a 3 p.m tilt with the Saints.
